The movie begins with a young man, Jatt. He tells his life legend while he enjoys a cigarette at night. In this section, we see Jatt's struggle in the slums of India trying to survive, and the rise of crime and corruption. The whole point of this sequence is to introduce us to what our protagonist Jatt will be going through in the future.In the second half of the film, we see how Jatt's life changed because of a powerful vision he had during a fight scene with an elite army officer. He was beaten very badly in that fight, but when he meditates afterwards in the forest, he gets a glimpse of his whole life in the future. He sees himself flying very high in the sky. When Tanya comes to surprise him at the forest, she tells Jatt that she will be leaving for America because her father has decided to move her to USA for further studies.Jatt gets angry hearing this and starts throwing stones on her jeep while Tanya is leaving India. He does not want her to leave India for any reason because he did not see America in his future vision. The sight of Tanya leaving India completely breaks Jatt's heart. He tells her that he would go to America at any cost and that he loves a girl named Tanya in his future.He gets emotional when Tanya promises to come back to meet him someday. Jatt finally has a look at his own life in the future, and it is filled with success and happiness, unlike the present day version of himself which is filled with violence and crime. Jatt (Salman Khan) has an eye for adventure and freedom, but his adventure with Tanya (Katrina Kaif) changes both their lives forever. Jatt has the ability to see visions of his future in dreams. He uses this ability to aim his steps in the right direction. He tries to make his life better by leaving behind the life of crime and violence, but circumstances don't allow him to do so. With the help of his friends, he builds up an empire for himself, which is filled with weapons and ammunition, guns and gangsters. But Tanya comes into his life, which changes Jatt's future entirely.Now in order to keep Tanya in India, Jatt adopts a new identity in the form of a secret agent. Jatt is determined to make his present and future better and takes on the identity of a super hero, Flying Jatt.In the final climax scene, by using his powers he enters into Tanya's dream. He makes her understand that she has been trapped in a virtual reality by a criminal mastermind named KKT (Amrita Singh), who was earlier defeated by him in a fight sequence. Jatt says that he will save her from this virtual reality. Jatt eventually succeeds in saving Tanya, but in doing so Tanya gets killed because of a malfunctioning vehicle.
